Busy busy day! Got up early and ate a full breakfast of cantelope and peaches and eggs and cheese (she is quite an eater) and then we were off to the zoo! We had lots of fun, but I am exhausted. Even though the stroller offered a great view of most of the animals, she was so excited and begged to be picked up to view each one. And then held facing forward. Bouncing. LOL. Someone has someone wrapped around her little finger, huh?

Then it was off to the playroom here at the Marriott for some crawling and bouncing and giggling. And now she is fast asleep.

Las night we had dinner with some other adoptive families, and I enjoyed a much-needed glass of rather good wine. This kid is so funny. When the adults at the table laughed, she laughed. She really seemed to be pretending to get the joke! Then we went to the bar and listened to a sax player, who of course fascinated her. She was just mezmorized. As he was playing, she acted as if nothing else in the world existed. When he paused and the pianist (who was out of her range of vision) played, she would look at me, and then at the rest of the room. As soon as the sax went back to his lips, the intensity returned. Oh my. Sax lessons in our future?
